Rentschler, Christine Ledbetter Chelsea, MI Age 76, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014. She was born in Hamilton, Alabama on November 11, 1937 the daughter of George and Jesma Watts. She grew up in Alabama, graduating from Hamilton High School in 1957. She then moved to Michigan, and eventually to Chelsea in 1966. Her first job was at the A & W. After that she worked at Wrigley's Supermarket. She was a member of Salem Grove United Methodist Church. Her favorite pastimes were cooking and canning, and she especially loved cookbooks. She also loved antique tractor shows. She is survived by her loving companion Paul Bollinger and his family of Chelsea, and two sisters, Lula Belle Franks and Nellie Sue West, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Dexter and Bobby Ledbetter, and two sisters Louise Goodson and Geraldine Dempsey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home with Pastor Christine M. Beaudoin officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Burial will take place in Hamilton, Alabama. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Salem Grove United Methodist Church or the
charity of one's choice.
